David is a first-opinion small animal veterinary surgeon and practice owner within the Vets For Pets group. He is currently completing a Masters in Veterinary Primary Care and Clinical Practice at the University of Lancashire. In his role as practice owner, he has responsibility for clinical governance and the development of quality improvement initiatives within the practice. Training provided by Vets For Pets and QIC Learn in the Model for Improvement informed a practice-based quality improvement project evaluating the use of local anaesthesia in small animal dental surgery.
