
Shyam Kanjee
Veterinary Student, RVC
Shyam is a final-year veterinary student at the Royal Veterinary College with a strong interest in clinical practice, research and ophthalmology. In hopes of pursuing a small-animal career with a future focus on ophthalmology. Shyam's research centres on the clinical outcomes of PACK-CXL, a corneal cross-linking treatment for infectious keratitis, in canine patients with an emphasis on the influence of skull conformation. Through this project, Shyam has developed skills in clinical research, data analysis and evidence-based medicine. Shyam is particularly interested in how research can inform practical decision-making in clinical settings and improve patient outcomes.
