Helene graduated as a veterinarian in 2021. She worked for two years at a large referral hospital before beginning a residency in veterinary oncology at the University of Copenhagen's Companion Animal Hospital in 2023. Helene's clinical and research interests focus on cancer in dogs and cats. In addition to her clinical training, Helene is involved in research on disease patterns, including mapping causes of death in companion animals. Helene's work aims to improve understanding of cancer epidemiology and outcomes in small animal patients.
