Olivia Freeman is a final-year Veterinary Science student at the University of Liverpool. Prior to starting her veterinary studies, she qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse while working at a small-animal practice in Cheshire. Olivia developed an interest in research during her second year at Liverpool after attending an undergraduate research summer school, and subsequently completed a small project investigating feline degenerative joint disease. Alongside her studies, she continues to work as an RVN and has interests in small animal medicine, dermatology, and antimicrobial resistance research.
