Asma Bint-Zubair is a final-year veterinary student at The Royal Veterinary College, where she undertook an elective rotation in orthopaedic surgery. She completed an intercalated degree in Imaging Sciences at King's College London, gaining experience in image processing CT and surface scans. Her final year research project focused on characterising the role of subchondral bone cysts in canine femoral head osteoarthritis. She will begin a career in small animal first-opinion practice this summer, with the aim of further developing her interests in orthopaedics and diagnostic imaging.
