Stuart Becker is a veterinary epidemiologist and health data scientist with a background in small animal clinical practice. He trained as a vet in Liverpool, has a PhD in Evolutionary Biology, and an MSc in Health Data Science. He works with the Royal Veterinary College's VetCompass programme, coordinating a large antimicrobial stewardship trial involving hundreds of UK practices, and supporting national efforts to improve antimicrobial stewardship in companion animals.
