Rory Thomson PGCert Int.Med.ifevet BVMS MRCVS graduated from the University of Glasgow Veterinary School in 2009. He spent three years in first opinion small animal practice across independent and corporate settings before helping establish an independent practice in Blyth. In 2020, he acquired his own independent small animal veterinary practice in Sunderland. Rory has a clinical interest in internal medicine and gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Internal Medicine in 2026. He combines clinical practice with business ownership and has a particular interest in environmental drivers of canine gastrointestinal disease.
